In commemoration of the one-year inauguration and murti prathistha of Harisumiran Mandir, the first Patotsav was held on Sunday, July 5th, 2020. Immediately after the morning Shangar Aarti, a mahapooja was held in the presence of Thakorji. Thereafter, a ceremony for Thakorji poojan was held, which was an opportunity to perform the poojan of the idols sanctified by Guruhari Hariprasad Swamiji. At noon, there was an Annakut celebration, wherein various delicacies and sweets were offered unto Thakorji.
For the remainder of the day, devotees had a chance to visit Harisumiran Mandir during pre-arranged times. In each timeslot, devotees had the opportunity to have the darshan of Thakorji and partake in mantra pushpanjali and aarti ceremonies. As this day also marked the auspicious occasion of Gurupurnima, everyone had the chance to perform poojan of Guruhari Swamiji’s murti and offer their prayers. The eventful day concluded with an online stream of a special Gurupurnima sabha.
